One of my favorite auditions from this season. His musicality was just so spot on, and, admittedly, I tend to be partial to Filipino dancers. Reppin’.
Based on the auditions, I think this season of SYTYCD is shaping up to be really great. Even though I look forward to SYTYCD every summer, this is the first time I’ve actually been impressed with the majority of the auditions and have favorites going into Vegas. I’m also really glad to see some great hip-hop dancers for a change (still annoyed with Jose making the top 10 last year *gag*).
Don’t let me down, SYTYCD. With the exception of Alex Wong’s incredible piece with Twitch (and a *few* other exceptions), last season was kind of a disaster.
